Gutted :(

I have just sold my M3, and was looking to get a Triton Extreme 88 only to find that it has recently been discontinued.

Why are Korg still showing it on their main page if it is discontinued?

I totally follow you. I have been looking for an extreme for ½ a year, and ended up buying on Ebay... It's an even bigger mystery why the MOSS has been discontinued, since all triton owners at some point realize they have to have it

I don't buy the explanation that Korg wants people to buy M3 or Oasys, TE is a very expensive machine that shuld last for years.

are you sure thats an Extreme ? Looks like the TR or X50

Tell us what site you viewing. I am in the US

Another thing- with all the effort and posts in the Extreme section; how could you not see the Extreme was discontinued ?

Do you look for information before buying a + $2000 keyboard/workstation ?

well, thats NOT the main page or opening page

But I do agree, its confusing for Korg to show the Extreme with all its other current products.

At a minimum, Korg should state right up front " No longer manufactured by Korg, replaced by xxxxx "

or put the Extreme in " Product Archives"

C'mon Korg, don't confuse customers with your web site- this is an easy fix

Confusion is never good

Actually I personally like it still being there on the page as I can navigate quickly for downloads, specs, etc....

I think they want to show they still "support" the instrument

Just curious why people sell M3 for TEX. Besides price itself is there any crucial reason? Thanks

Random question? What exactly is MOSS? I have a TEX and this moss I keep hearing about seems very good :)

Wow! I'm so lucky!

I've wanting a TE since its first day of release and finally got one last July... Glad I caught it.

But why on Earth would they still display it under their page? I've also stumbled upon Moby's article and was thrilled to read about his experience with the TEs. Funny they kept that on the front keyboards page as well.

Too bad.. guess it's a new era starting now. The M3 is great but still, I could never resist an Extreme

I bet it's because the Triton Extreme is drawing customers away from M3 sales.

Eventually every product gets discontinued, and the new takes over.
