Lorenzo - March 08
first of all... I'm sorry not to have listen or left a comment on the other songs, I'll take the time to listen to them as soon as possible.
Second... I didn't want to quit so I've create something that I won't call music eh eh eh... but in exactly 5 hours it's the best I could do.
Just a note: I decided to use only the v-synth xt to create this piece of cr*p (I never had the time to dig into the V-synth OS so I decided to work with it) but if the piece is horrible it isn't due to the v-synth, but it is my own fault.

Hi Lorenzo!!!!,
I thought this ws really neat,
And had a lot to say...Certainly you would need to do some work to pull the thing together to suit your view, but I thought it was fine as is, for all that!!!
Didn't care as much for that middle...but it was more "saws" and I like smooth better...it was still of high interest...
The rhythmic elements were well concieved to me, and were really one of the better features...just to my ears...
The ending might have dropped back to the early theme as a closer to match to what had gone before...Overall..VERY nice..!!!
I enjoyed it, and am glad you got it on!!!
My Best...ellll

I am loving this and blown away with the concept behind this. It's so unusual sounding, ambient, yet the type you could lay on the couch and close your eyes and go on this sonic journey. Such different parts that flow from one to the other so nicely, and the mood really changes. So tribal or something at the end. I love the scarey stuff in the middle. Very synthy and yet it sounds "live" and not sequenced by a computer. This is so amazing to listen to. The recording seems just fine to my ears and the composition just takes me away. I could listen over and over. So glad you got this finished. Now I have some work to catch up with this level of talent here. Very nice.

Man this is cool! I love the textures you evoke here. The lead synth in at the three minute mark is also very cool, though it feels thin in parts...maybe just a little chorusing could do it more justice.
The connection between the pieces and variety of elements you bring here are awesome. If this only took you a few hours, I would hate to follow behind you if you spent a few days on it! This is really amazing.
I can feel where this could go as a thematic/conceptual type of album. And what ideas you have in store for the rest of it we can only imagine!
Just under the wire, but WOW! You should run this close every month!

thanx to all for listening... anyway you're kidding me for sure cos it sounds worse every time I listen to this. I use some loops for the percussion and add some real time controls, tweaked some preset instrument and built only one from scratch... so I'm really not proud of this thing. What I'm proud of is still to be in this fantastic osam group, this year will be a great great challenge for me, but if I'll been able to complete some more works than I'll start working on the tracks of my band that I'm recording right now, and post those one that are better songs for sure.

Hi!
I agree with all of you that Lorenzo's entry is very very good!
He thinks that it's crap...well, it's simply the opposite!
The sound starting at 2.23 is not my cup of tea, but it fits so good in the mix and in the mood!
I totally love the way you go from one section to the next, all is perfectly blended up, rhythmic loops are perfect!!
Keep on this way, I like a lot!
BTW, the V-Synth is amazing!

I wish I could do that much in five hours
It sounded great here and really fitted well with the first part ... once again you've done a great job blending acoustic sounds with more abstract synth textures, and it makes for music that is both pleasurable and interesting to listen to.
Major respect for doing something so quickly and making it sound like it took ages to do !
Daz.

Hi Lorenzo
Well, what can I say....this is of such a high quality. And it only took you a few hours.
The orchestral sounds are extremely real, for me the brass really cuts through superbly.
We all want to hear more of this composition, so please continue with it!
Congratulations for sticking to your commitment to OSAM!!
Hope April gives you more time for you next song.

Hi Lorenzo,
Man what a contrast you have here - the beginning sounds were awesome. I was figuring a good 10mins of those sounds - at least hoping. The sound around 2:23 wasn't my cup of tea - although I give you big points for blending it in! Then around 3:00 I was back in the game - really back in! 3:33 - slick transition - man that section could go on longer for me!
If you think this is crap - then you've listened to it way too may times. This is seriously cool

Lorenzo, this is truly amazing for five hours. I love when the lead comes in somewhere at 3:06. The pieces are so nicely put together. I do love the ambient enviroments. I am especialy glad that you included the first part. The first part and the end are so other worldly. You are awesome! Where do you get all these sounds?
suoni eccellenti ! There is no quiting now. Thanks !
