Can the 64M RAMs work without the SMPL card?

Post by claydodo »

Hello everyone!

I'm new to the Korg TR. And I'm wondering if the EXT_SMPL card is a MUST before installing SIMM RAMs.

I just need to load new samples, not sampling by myself. Thanks for answering~~ :)

You can use RAM memory without EXB-SMPL expansion to load samples.

Thanks guys~~

I find the operation manual totally misleading here... It always mention the RAM and the SMPL card together... seems a good strategy for selling the card....
