Inspired trumpet...

Post by karmathanever »

Hi all

I was inspired by Lika's trumpet for the PA2XPro (http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... hp?t=33447)
and so thought you might like to hear a trumpet I use quite a lot on my PA1XPro - this is nothing too clever - just a little bit of tweaking (not sampled).

http://rapidshare.com/files/107719711/B ... A1XPro.wav (about 2.5MB)

Cheers

Another occasion when I feel the novice with my Korg. :(
I do envy those with the ability to produce and reshape sounds successfully. Well done, Sir!

Without this skill, I continue to need to rely on others to improve on the sounds on board.

For trumpet, I never fail to enjoy using Sharp's Golden Trumpet, which is on my must have list in the User Bank. To my ears, it is just what I need/like.

To all those who are able, there are lots of others like me who really appreciate your efforts. :D

Thanks calaf, yes, Sharp's trumpet is excellent - particularly the trumpet "shakes" he produced

Cheers

So how did you tweak it Pete?

In other words :

Which Trumpet is it exactly, and what, precisely did you do to the sound?

(Yeah, I wanna nick it...lol)

Mate...
I simply had a SOUND (can't remember - think it was a guitar...) from somewhere a while back and I just loved the way the effects were set up so I tried it on the trumpet (and also got a nice Tenor Sax going too).

I set these up as performances (using stock standard Korg multi-samples) - I will e-mail it to you tonight - "how much do I want for it??" I hear you ask... well let's settle for $8,000 or just get the M3 or Oasys shipped straight to my door   ... OK then, no charge!!

Cheers

Hi

Here's the link for the Trumpet and Sax performances.

http://rapidshare.com/files/111991573/Korg.zip

Unzip the 2 PRF files and put them into a "SET" for loading into PA1XPro.
Please remember these two files will load into and overwrite the 2 performance banks (9 & 11) so please backup your Performance data first.
You can also load the performances individually if you wish - just look for performances named "Nice ......".

Have fun.

Thanks a lot Pete,

Just got home from a nice sailing trip discovering new waters, so I'm all into exploring new sounds after two weeks without my keyboard.
