Padkontrol not showing up in Device Manager (Again)

Post by debu »

I've installed the Padkontrol according to the directions on Page 8 of the manual and it was recognized by Windows Xp, but it's not showing up in the device manager or in Ableton live. My other midi controllers are working fine. I've tried different calbes, ports, plugged it in with no other USB devices connected, and still no luck. This is the second laptop this has happened with and it's frustrating to say the least. Does someone have a tip, or Is there a checklist of things I should be looking for?

I had a simular problem so I connected it to a UNO MIDI to USB and it's working fine. I was lucky to have a extra power supply and midi interface around. It works perfect now. I've read threads concerning this a few times. I really think it bug depending on your computer. Some people are having no problems.

To anyone else having this problem. After a couple hours switching around my USB devices and deleting duplicate USB device registry entries I got it working.
