question on sample assault

Post by miden »

Just wondering if anyone knows if the Sample Assault Pianos from Sharp and the Realdrum.set that comes with the PA1x can be merged into one set file so they can both be loaded at the same time?

Or does the Sample Assault require the full 16, or 32 MB of ram by itself?

Also to refresh my memory, what is the type of ram required by the PA1x to take it to the 32mb? Is it EDO or Sdram?

Thanks

Dennis

PS or alternatively can the grantouchrx.set and the realdrum.set be merged instead? and would the both fit into ram?

Hello.

Just so there is no confusion. The item on the shopping cart called "Sample Assault" is for the Triton Series only and will not work on the Pa1X. I always list the compatibility details on the end of the page for each item.

So I assume your referring to Piano Evolution and it's additional free bonus copy of Piano Assault.

Piano Evolution requires 32MB of Ram
Piano Assault only requires 8MB. A version of Piano Assault can be provided on request merged with Real Drums or the Arabic set (permission given by KORG).

Kind Regards.
Sharp.

Hi Sharp,
Thanks for the response.

I actually bought this from you about 3 years ago as Piano Assault (well at least thats what I call it on my data file)

But I went away from Korg for a while, and now I am back.

I would like a copy of the piano assault, merged with the realdrums set if you can do it but I hope I do not have to pay for it again??!!

Thanks
Dennis

PS I can provide you with the receipt # for the Piano Assault purchase if you need it.

Whoops ....Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I got swamped with work.

Yeah, no problems at all. Will your email address take a 13MB file ?.

Regards.

Hi Sharp,

I figured that was the case which is why I left it for a while before I replied :)

It can take 10 mb.

Is it possible to do 2 zips? Or will that damage the integrity of the file?

Thanks

Dennis
