Use table or stand for equipment?

Post by fsguzek »

What do you use to support your gear? I've got samplers, drum machines, electribes, etc. all strewn about an old table and the top of my amp. I'd like to get something portable but sturdy. Maybe even with two levels.

Keyboard stand with a nice 2x12 on top?

What do you use?

I just have an EMX and I use a laptop stand.

Works really great you can adjust it up and down and then tilt it forward or back.

Back in my day, we didn't have water. We only had Oxygen and Hydrogen, and we'd have to just shove them together.

you can use a traditional sheet music stand like these:

you can often find these real cheap at second hand stores like MusicGoRound or ebay. just make sure its metal, has a large lip, and is adjustable.

I've got one of those.Very solid stand and fully adjustable and yeah, they are pretty cheap.I got one with holes in it which give good ventilation and i can route the cables through them which keeps things nice and tidy :D

I got one of those cases for mixers (pioneer) and a stand for electronic drums...but when I wanna be lazy to carry heavy stuff...I use two of these sheet music stands, very stable, cheap and they fit wherever.
