Taktor scratch+Live+Zero8

So... how it wotks?? this is my question!

Zero8 is traktor certified...it said on NI website... so i don't need the Audio8 box. But how it works? for routing?
I use Ableton too, i think Traktor3 and Live can't use both the zero8 soundcard at same time...
maybe i can use a soft like Soundflower to root the traktor audio into Live...
maybe i can root the midi of the zero8 threw Live to traktor via virtual midi port...
But what about the timecode for scratch? traktor need to use the zero8 as soundcard to works...or not?

Please help korg support!! i know you haven't to answer to my question but it could be great!! 8P

Correctlly ivanek, you cant do that at same time, i sugest visit www.deckadance.com
This software run like VST under ableton, available for Win and Mac

This software support timecode vinyl : ) and the next version, have 2 super usefull features............MIDI tempo sincro with ableton and ELASTIC TIME, like ableton : = )

Traktor 3 and Live can be used on zeros soundcard in the same time. There is no problem with it. You must only route different soundcard channels to each software.

wow, is the first time i read about 2 seprate appz can use the same sundcard at same time......
But if you say that work...... that should work, i test for see whats up.

Anyway if that work , Deckadance is more powerfull, just TEST !

Core: can you explain your setup because when i use the zero with traktor and Live together, it works but there is some crack and artefacts on the Live samples....
i don't use the same output....
Maybe it's a question of latency??
i put the same in Traktor and Live, 30ms for both... i think it's high, and i still have few cracks in Live...
What can i do??

my labtop is powerfull, 2Go RAM macbookpro 2.16 core duo...

well update to 10.5.3, nothing change...
the best solution i found is to use soundflower between the zero8 and both softs, all is routed threw soundflower, no crack, no artefact...
but i can't use traktor scratch, only traktor in midi mode.

I would like to take the plunge into digital mixing with traktor & my zero8
Do ineed to buy Traktor Scratch upgrade and then upgrade to Traktor ( full version ) in total of about £400
OR since the mixer is " traktor Scratch " certified just buy Traktor and some timecoded vinyl with the cost £ 190 pounds a hell of lot cheaper

If someone could help would be appreciated

Again i sugest DECKADANCE !

Its absolutly more versatile due you run DD like VST inside the ableton.
The setup is simple and incoming version 1.4 add lot of great features soon !!

Sell your TRAKTOR buy DeckaDance! 100% tested with ableton + korg zero 8 and not is really expensive!
Register in the deckadance forum, and then downlaod the last demo, from forum......version form home page is very old, downlaod version 1.3.9 from deckadance forum.

DECKADANCE is standalone software for windows and mac, suport timecode vinyl you can buy cheap torq vinyls, is teh sugested vinyl for use with deckadance.
Deckadance run like VSTi so you cna run DD inside ableton.........

And tellme what you think.
Im waiting to version 1.4 for start make gigs with DD.
I wait for taht version due taht version include perfect KEY, the actual KEY is reallt bad, and improve tempo detection mechanism, and add correct slave midi mode, and midi clock, for sincro with ableton.

I tested a lot on my studio with exleent results, just waiting for that 1.4 version.

Please back and comment your experience when you have some free time.
