Has anyone ever opened up the pa1x and install the joystick? I have just placed an order and I was wondering if I can do it or should I take it to the korg authorized service repair center. Thank you!
Johnny
Can I do this on my own with the PA1X?

Hi
I haven't replaced my joystick but I have opened up my PA1Xpro and disconnected and re-connected every ribbon cable and also removed and refitted the touch screen.
Best I can help is to tell you which screws to remove but you will have to figure out how to remove the joystick - it all looks pretty simple to me.
I believe a few members have actually replaced their joysticks. If you do not get a response I would be happy to help you get the keyboard apart.
Remember that all of this is at your own risk and I would not recommend it if the keyboard has any warranty remaining....
Cheers
Pete
