Drum Fills in SEQ

Post by Lightweight »

I was wondering; In SEQ mode I have created say a 4 bar drum beat song. If I wanted to insert a drum fill should I just create the drum fill in another separate song? then in the cue it would sound together? (hard to explain :? )

You know how you can edit the length of a song in track edit... Is it possible to create a 2 bar song? for some reason i can program it for two, BUT it always plays 4.... weird huh.... Cheers for your input.!

You could create another song and add it to a cue list, however, it may not be worth all the steps for just 2 bars.
It's easier to use Insert Measure to insert a 2/4 time signature, giving you the 2 bars.

You can also change the 4/4 time signature to 2/4 when the sequencer is in recording standby as indicated by **/**.
Highlight **/** and change it to 2/4.
