Piano pedals

Post by philiplyons »

I want to connect a dual pedal to my TEX, and configure the board to work like a real piano (una corda on the left and sustain on the right). Should I just buy two Korg DS-1H damper pedals? If so, where should I plug them in, and how should I configure them and the TEX?

Do Korg make a dual pedal?

If you use 2 seperate pedals, you should use the damper pedal input and the assignable switch input. The last one will be the soft pedal ofcourse. This setting has to be selected in Global P2: Controller “Foot
Switch Assign".

Maybe another brand has a dual pedal, but sometimes the jacks don't fit very well in the inputs of the EX.
