MIDI driver problem

Post by muLperi »

I have installed the latest KORG MIDI-driver (1.1) from the Korg.com.
Supposed to work with Vista also.

When I start X50 Editor it says:
"The KORG USB-MIDI driver is not installed, so certain functions may not work correctly.
We recommend that you install the KORG USB-MIDI Driver."

It still synchronizes with X50 probably with some Vista's own usb-midi drivers.

And when I start Korg System Updater it says:
"Port Error! It is necessary to be supplied from KORG MIDI-driver."
If I uncheck Use only KORG MIDI Driver, it finds the current X50 version and everything looks fine but if I try to update it gives an error.
It obviously cannot find the installed korg midi driver for some reason.

Help me please, what should I do. I want the favorites-feature!!! :D
