Hi,
I have heard the new Nano Pad controllers will do chords, this is great if it's true.If so will it be alike the Oasys? Will it have a learn function first and then a memory to store certain chords ? Please do tell, very excited about this..I can see buying two if it really will do this. One for drums and the other for chords.. Thanks if you have any idea on this..
there are several free plugins like this (pc/mac) that you would find useful, you might want to do a search of your own. your vst host has to support internal vst midi send. most hosts do..
No thanks,I'm not looking to use software for simple chord triggers.I'm well aware of those I own Cubase 4 and have used the chorder plugin.
I'm more concerned with the Korg chord triggers on this new nano,it looks it would. I used to own a Korg Karma and it was a nice little addon on that synth.
A confirmation from Korg would great, but this forum doesn't appear to have anyone from Korg talking about this,oh well..

I read this from Korg's website about the nano pad controller..
In addition, a new Chord Trigger function lets you enter chords onto a single pad, helping you to make the most of the work surface as you create.
Okay, but this doesn't answer if it will work like the karma as I mentioned or the oasys,m3,where as you can perform and then assign a midi learn ,or a set of chords and then apply them to the pads..
I would hope it would, reading more it apparently has an editor included to where you can program 4 customizable scenes in it.But a realtime midi learn function would be much better in my opinion..
Maybe they will reconsider this,or maybe someone from Korg has another way of doing this on the controller itself?
