I've just bought a Korg TR76 and was told that it came with Mac compatible Voice Editing software. I've loaded the CD into my Mac and there is no Voice Editor on it.
Where is the Editor/Librarian? I get a catalogue and a USB MIDI driver, but no Editor/Librarian. what's going on? The whole point of getting the Korg was the promise of the editing software to create my own sounds as the user interface in most of today's machines are pretty cumbersome and tedious.
I'm using Mac OS 4.11 Tiger on an Intel iMac.
Also when I have the Korg connected via USB, there is no indication on Mac that there is an external device attached to the USB, so I cannot 'see' the Korg. I don't have any Mac sequencing software to run on the Mac, as I'm looking at getting Windows installed to run FruityLoops.
So far it's looking like False Advertising.
NO Voice Editor for TR

Hi! There is no editor software for TR. Mac will not show you the device. Just if you use any software: Logic, GarageBand, whatever else. In input devices you can choose TR. TR USB can only transmit MIDI data, you can't share files like Pendrive.
If you bought Korg just for software in this case I offer you to see Roland synths. Now they all come with nice and useful editors. Plus DAW apps for mac and windows. Now I plan getting juno-stage if I like the use of it.
