I've been tweaking these for over a year, I hope they're getting close!
Baba O'Riley:
Tough act to follow! Pete Townshend and a Lowery TB-01 and an ARP. I think the humble R3 can come close to the original.
Won'tGet Fooled Again:
Did I get the phaser right? Is the waveform close?
I'm sharing these patches in the hope that someone will help me get them closer to fine! I've include an mp3 of me trying to play the patches.
Thanks!
Craig Wilson

On Baba, did you spit the kybd, for the FCF it's best to setup an arp where the lfo are double triggering on each note. I would also add a bit more treble. A friend of mine has ben Rabbit's kybd engineer for quite a few years now and he sat in on their last N. Am. tour when Rabbit stayed home to care for his ailing wife. I quite like WGFA - well done, adding the phaser makes for a cool sound. They still use the original tape sounds for their live performances although now triggered my midi. If you haven't already been on this site you might find it interesting.

Thanks for the comments and especially the link! I did split the keyboard for Baba, makes it much easier to play. I'm working on some updates (brighter tone etc.) I'll post when I get a chance!
I used echo to "double trigger" the note and arp to play the faster "rolls". I'm not sure how to use the lfo to double triger the note...
thanks!

Opening rp3 type files
Probably a really dumb question but how do I open the RP3 files...

I see that they are associated with the R3 Sound Editor for Windows but I can not open them in the editor.
What am I missing?
By the way these are really well done!

Download the r3p file, and make a note of where it is on your pooter.
Open the R3 editor, making sure that the R3 itself is config'd to receive/send data via USB.
Click New off the File menu and you should see all the 128 voices populate the display... If it's all Init Progs, then as long as you know a voice location (ex: F2) that you know you won't mind overwriting , click that voice once, right click, selecting OPEN off the context menu... Navigate to the downloaded file and click it. It should open the file in the editor. If you want to write it to your R3, right click the location and choose Write Selected... It'll ask if you're sure. As long as you are, say Yes... it should confirm the completion... locate the voice on the physical R3 and play it... It should be there and working.
By the way these are really well done!
Needs more Decimator.

Choose Open from the menu. That's it. R3P files are individual programs.
