Please don't double post your questions. It clutters up the board and makes it difficult to answer each question in a timely manner.

Try calling this number

Post by mikeyd »

Hi Keys:

I too received my replacement buttons. I was able to do it but not according to the instructions (pictures) that were included in the shipment. I would reccomend calling 631.390.8737 and asking a Korg tech on how to do it. I could of damaged my M3 after thinking about it. Hope this helps. Oh by the way, they are open 10-5 EST Monday thru Friday.

Good luck and good playing! =D>

Check the forums, both Korg and Karma-Lab!!

The Karma Lab forum is being upgraded right now but should be up later today or tomorrow. There is a large thread running dealing with everything you can imagine on the button issue including instructions and images on how to replace the buttons.
It is very easy and there is no need to open up the unit.

By the way, it is always wise to check or search both forums for any questions you may have instead of double posting like Georgeinar suggested. It clutters the forums and you may not get the right answers since people that participate in the earlier thread may ignore your double posting altogether.

Sorry to preach but that's life
Good luck

It all depends on what kind of tape you use. I had great success with packaging tape. Obviously, the stickier the tape is, the better. I fold the tape in half for extra thickness and press on firmly to completely cover the button, making sure you don't touch the surrounding buttons. Then pull the tape straight towards you.

I'm sure the directions are correct, it's just that the pictures they sent were very blurry and I wasn't sure what they were using to remove the buttons. I won't post here how I got them off because like I said earlier I could of damaged my M3 looking back on it. I think either waiting until the Karma Lab forums are back up (someone posted earlier that they go into great detail there), or contacting Korg directly if you, like me, were unable to make out what the pictures they included are showing.

Maybe one of those suction cup darts would work as well.
