When September Comes

Post by georgeinar »

Isn't that a song title? Anyway, the summer is almost over and we're going to be getting stricter and more in your face about doing our song projects. There may be pm's when necessary. Excuses ignored. Fragments accepted. But my wish is for our group to start really pulling together and supporting each other and being more present here. I have been a bit remiss and spending days at the pool without even stopping by our chat room here, but that is now a thing of the past. I am expecting some killer Halloween tunes for October, and for those who are falling behind, if I were you I would consider posting a current month project (like September) and putting that past behind you, if you've missed a month or two, jump in with a September song, why not?

I know many are seriously busy with professional works, but OSAM is a different ballgame and we've signed up to do this for a year and those who follow thru with this contract will be the winners. I am busy with a 40 hour a week job as well and I am making time for my own musical creations. I hope we all can do the same, one way or another. Again, post something. Post a rehearsal recorded late at night. We love spontaneous, guys and gals. I won't let this OSAM 3 go down without a fight, (like last year's which never even made it thru the year for most). If this doesn't pan out for the majority of our members, this may be my last year to do this.

This OSAM is stronger than any other excuse...
I'm so busy with work, study, girlfriend, and so on, but be "forced" to write music is such a pleasure for me...
As you know, I've always posted short songs, something more similar to experiments, than to complete songs, but it has been so usefull for me!!

So, after the summer is passed, vacation are gone, and we have to start the "normal" life again, let's turn OSAM and KF the rockin' place we've always seen

AhaMaybe you're right...
Let's do some math to evaluate how many hours I could give to my M3 8)

But...Hey!!! Let's wait...
My M3 can't wash the floor, can't cook, and can't iron the short...so let's carry on with Cinzia!

Hey,,, NEVER..get rid of the girl friend...!! (Unless she is absolutely impossible...)...

They are way too interesting, fun and pretty!!!l...And also very much support...!!!

Get her input more to-the-point on composition...!!!, and use her pretty young voice .., even if it is just a speaking part

But I agree with George for the most part. We are sometimes so tied to daily tasks......but we STILL owe something to OSAM as well...

I will try to be in more...I have had a few "head" probs...but it is all better for me now...and I will be here more.....

As for Halloween.....Well..I have a few started...but nothing reasonable yet...but I am still trying...(  )

Best!!!!! Johnny, John...(ellll)

Indeed, George, duly corrected...,

And reporting for duty.

I am working on the September song..( :D ) and have a good basis for the usual..( ) romantic drivel I produce... It will work out I believe, and should be reasonable for the most part.

I always get a kick out of the October offerings!! Some are very good indeed,..(and scary...)

I Do have a few started...and Will try to have an interesting offering for October as well...

My Regards, All!! John(ny)..(ellll) Good Luck, Everyone!!!

My resolve is with OSAM but this month I will (very likley) be late. You guys are awesome!
I am working around the clock on a major musical endeavor, where I am the main driver for harmony and multitude rhythms. I must be right on......before the performance. I am practising every spare moment. I have waited 19 years to play with this caliper of players. I must do it!

If I am not able to post before the end of the month.... I am still very much with you guys. I regret to be the wet blanket on this encouraging post. I will post for this month just perhaps a little late.

This is what is going on. Long live OSAM!

So happy for you!
If you have the opportunity, record some performance, and post it as your OSAM, should be so nice to hear you playing with these good musicians, and take some picts if you can.

Sounds good to me, the holiday month it always a struggle.
From now on there should be more time to get going again.
I remember the Bonkwells October song from 2 years ago, a classic!

I'm late with August, but working on it!

Hi Folks,

Didn't forget you darling or my music making ! :-)

I've just been "distracted". Damn, I didn't even post on the forum for two months before the last couple of days.

At work now, will post more later.

Daz.

Daz, we're so glad you've got us running full steam, or even half steam, that we're willing to overlook a deadline or two. However, love to hear from you on the musical front.

I am glad to see the forums back up. My head has been buried in a sand pile.

Musical front- I actually have August AND September...just trying to get them to a state of posting. My August should be up no later than Thursday. Lots of fun things going on and I hope you all will enjoy it.
