Hi all
I just want to say first that I purchased the korg legacy collection, I am a newbie and hope this question will not bother you.
Basically, after my first minutes, I realized that all the sounds sound like noise on my computer.
I have a macbook purchased last summer, dual core 2 2Ghz with 1 gig of ram.
I was reading the manual and they were saying that these kind of issues can happen if your processor is not fast enough, and they recommend a powerbook g4 1.25 Ghz.
I should be ok then. I was checking the cpu usage and I am indeed almost all the time at 99 - 100%.
I was wondering if anyone had any idea as to be honest, I am kinda lost right.
I wanna thank you all in advance for your help.
Cheers
julien

On an Intel Mac, you need to be running a Universal Binary version of the plugins.
If you bought it new, recently, it should already be the latest version. If you bought an older boxed copy, it will only be a PPC version, and won't run natively on your Intel Mac.
In this case, you would need to upgrade to the latest dongle-protected version that is a Universal Binrary. See www.korguser.net for details on upgrading.
So check what version you have - if it came with a dongle, you should be ok. If it uses challenge/response protection, you have an old version and it needs to be upgraded.
