Hi, I've got some stuff written on the Electribe and I'd like to mix in some audio samples from laptop. I want to use Ableton because I really want to learn that program anyway. Is it better to send audio from Ableton to the Audio In on the Electribe or send audio from the Electribe to Ableton, mix it there and output the result from the laptop?
Quite new to Ableton so the more detail in the answer the better. Thanks.
Edit: Forgot to mention I have a USB to MIDI cable...

Almost certainly better sending from the electribe to ableton.
Ableton has a pretty good mixing section, that the electribe doesn't have, which means that the electribe just becomes another track when mixed through ableton.
You won't have the same control using it the other way around.
