How to save MicroKorg Midi Settings?

Post by gibsonsg87 »

I have tried following the manual with many failed attempts, but how do I permanently save the settings that I have selected on the MicroKorg? In other words, how do I have it saved so whenever it is turned on I do not have to adjust any of the settings? For some reason, I am having trouble understanding what the manual is describing.

The microKORG provides a write protect setting that disables writing to memory, letting you prevent data from being rewritten accidentally. If you want to save data that you have edited, you must first turn write protect off.

-Hold down the SHIFT key and press the 8 key.
-Turn the 1 knob to switch write protect on/off.
-When you have made the desired setting, press the lit 8 key or SHIFT key. The microKORG will return to its normal state.
