microKORG 8-bit sounds

Post by sirdrakebiscuit »

Any one know of any good 8-bit type sounds I can get out of my microkorg? Ive been playing with anything that sounds even the slightest bit like any 8-bit sound. And I got nothing. Any Ideas?

Hi. Try this . . .

Sample and hold a vocoder sample (your voice) using the Fomant button. Next set the Filter EG and Amp EG to a 0, 100, 20, 20 and then play with the Resonance and Cutoff performance knobs; you can get some great, 8-bit, "telephone booth" pianos this way.

:)
