So I dug out my old ES-1 Electribe sampler. I'm playing a note in realtime and holding it down so it runs the whole 4 bars, but when I play it from the top, it plays back as a short stab.
I tried motion seq recording and that didn't do it. I read in the manual about the gate/pitch, but that's not it. Any ideas?
I figured if it's the effect(s) that's making the note sustain so long or cycle, how come it's not recording that as part of my performance?
Old ES-1 Question. Doesn't playback as recorded (notes cut)

Thanks for replying.
I switched to song mode and it does the same thing.
It seems to be a problem with RECORDING the FX settings along with the key presses. I've turned on the motion sequence too. Nothing.
It sounds lush and full of delay and reverb which runs into the next pattern/bar as I'm holding down the key. But on playback- it plays back a short stab or the exact element dry.
Also, it won't SONG CLEAR. Pad blinks and gets hit, but soom as I hit play, the song resumes. I have to manually go in and clear every single part.
