HELLO KORG - NANO PAD - CHORDS?

Post by bobbybland »

Hi,
I've browsed through the online manuals for the nano pad,but cannot find any information on where and how to create and store chords for the nano pad... Where's this located? I was told the nano pad would be able to trigger chords... Not seeing this help please do tell.....

Bump... Any Korg Rep around that can explain, where I can find the information about the chords on the nano pad?

This was taken from the Korg website: "In addition, a new Chord Trigger function lets you enter chords onto a single pad, helping you to make the most of the work surface as you create. "

Can you point where in the manual or wherever it explains this? Thanks..

You would be better off emailing Korg support. This is a user to user forum primarily.

This is not an official KORG forum. Although there are one or two KORG employees on here.

I looked at the site and saw the comment about chords, but looking at the manual it's not there ... d'oh !

Maybe it's something you can only configure using the software. Have you tried running that ?

Took a peek at the software myself, as I am considering getting some nano action myself ... assigning chords to pads is pretty obvious when you run the Kontrol software :-) When you select a pad and set the trigger mode to Note, you can enter upto 8 notes.

Just saw that.. I've ordered mine, should be here Monday.I was just impatient,Korg did respond right back via e-mail and explained this to me.I like the idea of being able to enter 8 notes per pad. Thanks for the help! 8)

So I got the Korg Nano, and while I'm liking it's size.I'm a bit underwhelmed with the uninspiring software used for creating chords.I think they should have at least allowed the user to create chords via a midi learn function ,similar to the Oasys or Karma or M3.I was really also hoping that there would be some preset chords of some sort, but it does not appear there are.

Anyways maybe we can exchange different scene sets as korg nano customers with each other... Now I'm off to create some.. it's gonna be slow!

Sharing scenes is a real good idea. I have a bunch available and you’re more than welcome to contribute.

Hi,
Nice site, you have many more then I have is it possible to get the same presets from Oasys? Maybe Korg could provide these? I would imagine it could be a simple update from Korg.

How about it Korg?
