XLR mic 's cutting in and out pa1x.

XLR mic 's cutting in and out pa1x.
Anyone had the problem mic. pluged in to the XLR ..tryed two dif,sure mic's and cables, no noise just los of the mic.sound, cutting in and out and back in constantly??thanks jim/p

Did you check to see if there is added a "knee", "cutter/clip" or "compressor"?
All of the above will only let sound through if input-volume exceedes a certain dB...
Also make sure the XLR-cable is soldiered correct - no crossovers.
And last; make sure your mouth is all the way into the mic, the PAX (specially the harmonizer-part) is extremely picky 'bout that.

Yes thats what it was,,low frek.cut off,the 1x has a few frek's to select from I was set to low...thanks
