Hi there. I have some of the pemo sounds for Yamaha and they are superb. Expensive but superb. The Korg are the same samples but in different format. All I need to do now is to be able to convert mine to Korg Format. More expense but then again the voices on pa2x are great anyhow....

I'm sure that you'll enjoy the voices once you get them loaded in to your pa.

I have both PEMO sound pack 1 and 2. I am very happy with the sounds. The price is high, but this is a professional made product. The multisamples have perfect looping and no artifacts. Please note that some of the sounds have been sampled with natural vibrato. This adds to the realism but gives less control when playing.

While we are talking about third party sound for the Pa800/Pa2X I would also like to recommend Vocal Assault from Irish Acts. These vocal samples are great, but what makes them really fantastic is Sharps programming. Vocal Assault contains 64 different sounds created from 14 high quality multisamples. Some of the sounds are great for solo playing, but the pads are what really makes this special. Try one of these pads instead of the traditional synth pad or strings. I gives a completely new dimension to your playing!

I have the two PEMO sound packs and Vocal Assault permanently loaded into my Pa800. This excatly fills the 64 mb sample memory. These sounds are so great that I will probably leave it that way forever

Thank you very much for the vote of confidence chaps,

I was a bit concerned also with the vibrato issue. Why O Why could they not just assign an LFO to the after-touch (or at least give the choice) of a sample with natural vibrato and one without.

I live in the uk, I wonder could you give me a price on the pemo sound and how you obtained them I visited the german site I would like them but I am to old to go messing in euros -

Thanks for the info on the Pemo sounds.

One question...when you play the sounds with natural vibrato NOTE to NOTE up/down the keyboard, how much does the vibato speed/depth differ? A small difference is fine and natural.

This is a big issue with some of the factory sounds on the PA already and I don't want more of the same. Some on the PA are twice (or half dependin on how you see it) as much as others!

I wish folks that sample intruments would leave the vibrato to LFO assignments!

Sure, The Price was £178.00 for the two sets. Sent the guy an email and he sent his PAYPAL address & I paid him in euros.

BUT If you hang on for a couple of days I will sell you mine for considerably less than £178.00

There is some difference in both speed and depth. I don't find it unnatural when playing but this is of course a personal matter. In general I think that a sampled vibrato often gives a more realistic transition to the tail than a vibrato created with an LFO. I have made a quick recording (isn't the built-in mp3 recorder great

) of the PEMO Alto Sax. This sound is fairly typical for the PEMO sounds (organs excluded).

All I can say is that the pemo sounds are great on the Tyros 2, therefore I would assume, maybe wrongly, I don't know, that they would be OK in the Korg

You might be right, but could you point us to cheaper sample libraries for the Pa800/Pa2X with similar sounds? Especially the entertainer organs are second to none if you want to play classic Klaus Wunderlich songs
