It's a very robust case, but is heavy. It's a good case for shipping.

For me a lighter weight soft carry case with wheels (also made by Gator) was a better choice but I would not ship the keyboard using it. I keep the original packaging for shipping if ever needed.

Best regards,

The Gator GK261R:

44" = Interior Length

17.375" = Interior Width

6" = Interior Height

Exterior Size: 47" x 18.375" x 7"

AIRLINES NEED 62 LINEAR INCHES (L + W + H)

WEIGHT = 24.31 lbs

ONLY PROBLEM WITH KORG PA800, IS THAT THE PA800 IS 7.1" IN HEIGHT, WILL IT FIT?

ALL TOGETHER WITH WEIGHT OF CASE AND PA800, TOTALS 54LBS.

AIRLINES REQUIRE 50LBS!

WILL IT FIT BECAUSE OF THE HEIGHT IS THE QUESTION? :(

I'm pretty sure my mate has a GK261R case. And with his pa800, when closed it puts pressure on the top bit of the screen since it is raised higher. He has to pad it with a sponge or something during flights etc.

Hello,
Maybe if you take off the rubber under the keyboard.. it will maybe fit exactly in the Gk261r
