Thanks for this stunning set of new patches! Like the suitcase EPs particularly, but there is not a bad patch amongst them. Between the standard EPs and these new ones, it's now impossible to choose a favourite!
Think I may have noticed some note stealing with the 8-way patches in a complex combi, but that's easily avoided.
Any chance of Korg releasing some "pro" B3 type organ patches in future? (or am I just being greedy?)

Impressive Clavinets Korg has made. I'm sure most of you know the history of the Piano, but for those of you who don't,,,
Before the Piano, there was a Clav (I think it was actually called a "Clavis").
The main difference between a Clav and a Piano was dampening. A Clavis was a VERY Funky sounding Piano type instrument.
Maybe like 100 years after the Clavis was abandoned for the Piano, the electric Clavinet was introduced. The name "Clav" was derived from the funky "Really Old School" Clavis piano type instrument.
But anyways;
These new Korg Clavinets sound GREAT.. VERY GOOD JOB!
Being new to the modern day synth world (I haven't messed with synths since the early 80's), when making sounds, are Clavinets something that are used often in the development of custom synth sounds?
Any info. on this subject would be GREATLY appreciated!
Mike

Here's the overview from KORG USA:
Pro Vintage Keys Collection for the M3 XPanded and M50
Programmed by Jack Hotop
32 new Programs - 20 Suitcase/Stage/Dyno E.Pianos, 3 Reed E.Pianos and 9 Clavs.
These sounds were designed to provide more expressive, natural sounding programs, with improved velocity switching (up to 8-way switching!). Constantly referring to classic recordings by top artists across many genres of music, Special attention was paid to Controller Modeling for accurate Stereo Panning, Tremolo, Key Off, String Muting, and Tone Control.
Likewise, custom vintage FX assignments like Phase Shifter, Stereo Vintage Wah, Flanging, Stereo Tube PreAmp, Distortion, Ring Mod, Tape Echo, Reverb & more were designed to get the classic settings heard on the recordings that shaped the legacy of these timeless instruments.
Pad assignments, KARMA (or Arps) & Drum Track grooves are provided for every sound.
Two versions for the M3 Xpanded are provided:
Regular uses G000 through U-G031 If you want to load PCM-04 Option at the same time we have provided a “merged” version that loads these sounds into U-G027 through U-G058

Both PCG and Editor files are provided for both products. For the Editor file you must select a BANK File, not an ALL file to be able to load them.
