My question: I don't have a clue to a final price, since I've never done anything like this. I need your help... badly!

A really appreciate it.
Thanx.

P.S. Right now, I'm bound to make a demo.

Good point, I forgot... the whole thing it's going to be made with an Oasys though...lcmorley wrote:Sharp/Daz,
Very good question, but does this really belong in the Oasys forum?
Sharp wrote:If it was me, and based on the going rates in my area I'd probably go back with a price of 500 Euro per song. This is slightly below the going rate, but since it's 12 songs I would be offering them a deal.
This is for music only. No vocals.
If they wanted singing then the price would go up considerably, more than twice the price.
For example, the going rate for a Radio Jingle that lasts 30 Seconds with Singing is 900 Euro.

Well, I think I'm solo on this one. The marketing director is an old friend of mine and he would have told me if there was a cotest involved. So he picked me, because he already knows my work.Sharp wrote:Exactly +1Charlie wrote:Don't bid too low either - esp. if others are involved. There's always the worry of underbidding which can leave them with the worry that the final product will not be of the quality they require if your too cheap. Be confident in your work and go in with your price based on a “Per Song” basis as that leaves it open ended for them to decide on how much money they want to spend.
They might go for the full 12, or them might take 8. Either way, 500 Euro per song is a good deal and it is slightly below the going rate.
