Hi ! Can I install operating system pa80 in pa50?
This no function!!!! Because PA50 don't have audio board as well as PA80.
I have tryed, it don't work.

PA-50 to PA-80
What works not?
Can you load the operating system to it, and works it?
Only the audio input function works not or you can't load the OS?
And if I load the OS to my PA-50, can it be corrupt?

the sampling function is NOT about the OS, but it's about hardware. you do not have and can not install a sampler in pa50. no way you can achieve what you want. instead, you could use an external piece of harware that can be controlled via midi. now that's different.

Well, I tried to download the PA-80 OS to my PA-50.
There was no problem with the installation, it works.
But...
The PA-80 functions don't work, because every feature needs anything:
- The sampler function needs a memory card, PA-50 don't have, so saving is greyed.
- The Audio In needs FX Processor, so it don't give sound at all.
- The direct HD function needs a Hard Disk, so it gives a message, that no hard disk is installed.
Probably the PA-60 HDD installation kit can work, but I didn't tried (I haven't got PA-60 installation kit).
Could anybody help me, where can I find a PA-60 HDD installation kit?
And will it work with PA-50?
