Using DSD recorder for archiving vinyl

Post by Barry Fitzgerald »

I have been thinking of trusting my high quality analog vinyl records to DSD. So, ideally, I would store the files on my iMac hard drive and select which ones to play. The problem is converting the DSD through a DAC. I suspect an MR-1 or MR-1000 would allow me use thier DACs but it seems I would have to download each file as needed, to the MR-x to play them. It would be great if they would allow me to stream from the iMac using the USB.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thx

AudioGate software will let you play the files offline (on your iMac).
