"You Dropped A Bomb On Me" - editing newbie

Post by jimmied999 »

Got a practical question here:

I'm an editing newbie and need to know how to get the sound from "You Dropped A Bomb On Me" - the diving pitch bend whistle sound that evokes a bomb falling from the sky. I guess I could adjust the joystick parameters and bend it manually, but I would like to have it set up so I just need to hit the high note and the pitch will dive downward as I hold the note without having to use the joystick.

Any help would be appreciated.

That makes sense somewhat, I just need to dive in to editing (probably with the manual) and get my feet wet. Hopefully it will be somewhat intuitive in the EG params - I've gotten lost in many menu structures on past attempts and had to give up for the time being.

Thanks for the reply!
