Not enough space for files to go on disk

Post by maestrosav »

I have unzipped the Pa1X_res_v300_fd.zip and when I go to fit disk 3 file onto floppy disk 3 it says
There is not enough space on floppy disk drive. You need an additional 4.00KB to copy these files.

The frustrating thing is, the file is 1,428KB and the floppy disk drive takes a maximum of 1,44MB so how can I be needing more space. What is the best file extraction program to use as winzip is one of the files too big to fit on a standard disk? Every other file seems to fit onto the other 5 disks, except disk 3. I am using TDK MF-2HD MS-DOS Formatted floppy disks
Please advise on what to do next I don't understand about floppy disks etc and its starting to boggle me

You should not be using Winzip or any other extraction program to extract these to floppy disk. The files you download from Korg are self-executing, meaning that you only have to double click the file on your hard drive, making sure a floppy is in your A: drive, and the Korg file will automatically extract itself to the floppy. You don't do anything other than that.
