Catalyst Volume 1 has now been released, for the Korg M50 (and KARMA M50 Software)!

The first chapter in our new Catalyst Series, this collection will catalyze your creativity with a
burst of inspirational jaw-dropping grooves. More info, including the combi list, audio demos
and the extensive User's Guide:

Catalyst Volume 1 Page

Programmed by Eric J. Sawyer and KARMA Developer Stephen Kay, with each combi going through a
rigorous testing and quality control program, this fully KARMA-fied set of 32 combis represents hundreds
of hours of work over the last year. Originally released for the mothership OASYS, Eric and Stephen
have made these KARMA-fied M3 Combis combis sound virtually identical to the OASYS versions - and if
you know anything about the OASYS, that's a good thing. :) And through the magic of KARMA M50 Software,
you can have the same functionality of this set of M3 grooves on your M50.

In addition, the M50's Drum Track (while off by default) has been programmed to add an additional
complimentary percussion or drum element in every combi.

The M50 Version Owner's Guide can be viewed [here].

More audio demos will be posted in the next few days. For those of you who don't require demos to know
you want it, Catalyst Volume 1 can be ordered from the Karma-Lab Store for $32 - that's $1 per
combi - where else can you get two days worth of work for a dollar? :)

Buy Catalyst Volume 1

Important note: Again, this set of combis *requires* KARMA M50 Software.

Congratulations on a job well done! :D

Offtopicly, keeping fingers crossed for a demo of KARMA for the M50 soon. Can't decide until I try ;)

Catalyst 1 Videos Released

Post by StephenKay »

I just released video versions of two of my Catalyst Vol. 1 demos, that were previously audio only. You might like to get an idea of how those pieces were done (on the M3). I should mention that these are the first videos to take advantage of Karma-Lab's newly redesigned larger Media Player. :soundsgood

Note that while these were done on the M3, you can do the exact same kinds of real-time control with the M50 and the KARMA M50 software.

Enjoy!
