R3 fitting in a normal backpack ?

I am thinking about getting a R3, and try to figure out if it is small enough to fit in a normal daypack to carry it around?

Here are the dimensions:
25.00" (W) x 10.63" (D) x 2.99" (H); Weight: 6.17

Seems like it would be too long for a daypack.
