roll flam dosen't work???

Hi. I just got my pk yesterday. hooked it up to live 8 and set control surface.

I can trigger notes íf i for example load a 808 instr kit to a midi track.

The only thing i can't seem to figure out is to use the roll/flam functions.

Is there anything i need to do before they will work???

press "setting", press hold down roll, all pads that are to be affected by the roll function will light, while holding the roll button, you can toggle which pads you want to be affected. It works the same way for flam.

Press "setting" again when you are done. press roll then press and hold a pad and touch the x-y pad and move your finger around.
