new to the forum im a little confused

Post by skoto88 »

Hello everyone.
Im new to the forum and ive had my triton LE for a couple of years, but i recently bought some samples online in what i believe is KMP format. i ordered my RAM and Smart Media card from ebay and am currently waiting for them to arrive. my question is will I be able to permanently save these sounds on the keyboard or will i have load them every time its turned on? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

you have to load it every time you turn on.

if you have a lot of samples and only want to use some of them, but use them all the time, I suggest you save back your sample ram contents using 'save all sampling data'. then you can just load that one file at the start in order to get all your sounds you want.

if there are no PCG files with the samples, remember that you will have to make your own programs that use the samples.

Thanks alot for your time X-Trade. Really cleared things up. it does come with the PCG files. so i guess ill just do what you suggested and backup sampling data and just load that one file. Again thanks!
