wich one choos between cdrw and mlan?

Post by Valerios »

Hi to all
I have this situation,
i would like to interact with the internal hard drive of my TS.
I use to have a pci scsi into my desktop and it work without problem.
Now i move to australia and i didn't take with me that PCI card.

I recently purchase a macbook pro 13" and it come with the firewire 800

i'm not sure between :

CDRW : that allow me to burn into a cd and move the datas between pc and triton

Mlan : that allow me to interact with audio and midi at the same time with just one cable but i don't know if allow me to explore the hard drive

External cdrom/hard drive scsi

USB to scsi or SCSI to firewire adapter.

Wich one u suggest to buy?
I'm Italian but located into Australia
thanks

Don't bother with mlan....waste of time/money.

The cd is an important thing to have if you want to load sample cds and all of the other normal functions.....

I would get the scsi to usb adapter and cd burner option.

hope this helps,
John
