M1 LE and Nanokey - can't get nanokey to work

Post by Chewy »

I got a Korg Nanokey for my birthday and can't get it working. I downloaded the driver, and it installed ok. I downloaded the M1 LE software, that installed ok, but under "system" and "preferences", driver type only shows DirectSound, ASIO and MNE. There's nothing for USB audio, or the driver that was installed. Can someone help me as to how to get this working please?

What OS are you running? Go into the device manager and maker sure that the nano key has the correct driver selected (not the generic windows driver). The options your describing are for the sound output.

When you press a key on the keyboard do you see any response in the M1 program?

Thank you ever so much for responding. I was getting pretty disappointed, but you solved half my problem. I did more research on here and got it working! THank you Thank you!!

Now, one quick question - can I get more sound banks for this instead of what comes in the M1 Le Software? I won't bother you anymore, thanks so much again!
