Hi,
Bought it 2 weeks but still not happy with the patch I made - Bass Patch. All I want is something like House Bass/Trance bass not D&B bass.
The result were always hi-tone sounds like Bell and Harsh Leads. Pls let me know which wav sounds I should get started ? Sine ? And tune down the cut off ? Any tips would be highly appreciate.
BTW, I'd like to make Pad sounds as well. I have tune the R of ADSR a bit high (around 100), D & S around 50 but still have not sustain-enough sound. Pls advise.

any tips on making bass and pad patch on Radias-R ?

Square bass is more solid, while Saw bass will give more edge. You can easily flip back and forth. You for sure want Unison. Run a low pass filter around 500 and adjust that and resonance as needed then just form your envelopes as desired. Layer some timbres up if you like
I'm surprised you have had trouble getting good bass out of it. I have only had my Radias a few weeks and its strongest feature thus far has been its bass which completely surprised me.

You need to thicken up the bottom end, not just cut off the top end.
Check out the WaveShape types that begin with subOSC, like subOSC Squ, Sin, and Saw. Then tweak the depth and level. Then you can add virtual patches or use the modulation sequencer to modulate the depth and pan.
Also look at crossmod with OSC2, detuned down an octave. Or you can start with one of the Bass DWGS waves on OSC1. Also set unison to 2 and detune it, since you usually don't need high polyphony on a bass patch.
Then use distortion and compression effects to dirty it up a bit and add some punch. Flange is good too. Just don't go crazy on the FX. You want to keep the bass punchy, not overwhelm it.
