HELP~Kaossilator and Hooking it up to a Mbox2

I recently got a Kaossilator and really dig it. I was wondering if its possible to hook it up to my Mbox 2 through the S/PDIF spot and record on my ProTools. I tried hooking it up already to the S/PDIF spot and i changed the clock source to S/PDIF to, but i couldnt get anything. Can anyone help me???

I just want to be able to hook my Kaossilator up to my MBox 2 and record it in my ProTools.
