Help with translation of songbook!!!

Post by bobtyros »

Hi All

I'm a Tyros nut through and through BUT have dipped my foot in the water and I'm giving the PA800 a bash - wanted something to make me think!!! I've tried searching but I can't find out where to download a non-cryptic version of the songbook????? Can anyone help please??

Take care

I remember seeing this sort of question some time ago on the Create Song Styles forum. A fellow by the name of Jurone created a list of "translated", if you will, Songbook titles. It's necessary to join the site to access the information. I do believe, though, that a fee is now involved in joining. Anyway, here's the link, if you want to go that route.

Hi Bob, would be great practice to learn how to change the song titles for yourself. It's a breeze once you know how and have some done. You might not even want a lot of the songs and so can delete them if you wish.....

Open up your songbook, go to screen menu and enable list edit -> Select a song entry, go to Tab edit pg1 and press 'write' You can then change the name using the 'T' where you see the cryptic title and then save. Done.. :)

Sorry I can't help with the songbook file as I don't have it. It's no longer on CSS either.

edit: Have found a de-crypted file from May 07. 370 songs..uploaded to my website here:

Only me again.

Bob, this is from the Download section of this site. It's in the Pa1X section, towards the bottom of the page, but I wonder if it may work for you.

I haven't actually looked at it, so I can't say that it's any different from Keith's decrypted list. But it might offer some further suggestions. Good luck.

Bob, I also have the Carillon free songbook on my website. If you merge the 2 then it will produce a more comprehensive book...
