KLC-1 Crashing as stand alone, not showing up in Live 8

Post by ladymia »

I just installed KLC-1 on my new macbook pro, upgraded to 1.2.2, installed the new eLiscenseControl. I don't see it in Live 8, when I open it as standalone it just crashes everytime! there's another Korg folder inside of the Korg folder in the application folder. when I click on the instruments in that folder an error msg pops up saying' XXXX.conponent not found' but I did install all the new updates. Please help!

osx 10.5.7

Ah, the old component not found problem. This should really be a sticky. When you "upgrade" to 1.2.2, you need to use the enclosed uninstaller to remove the original KLC-1. Then do a search for all the korg components you can find as it doesn't remove them. Once that's done, reinstall using the new 1.2.2 installer et voila.

You're not the first (neither was I) and you won't be the last. Check out an earlier thread for fuller instructions.

Sharp.

Can you put this one as sticky as it is a common problem we have been asked a few times.

Cheers
