Microkorg/Vocoder Problem

hello people!
i got a big problem
i just bought the microkorg/vocoder but when i put the usb thingy in my laptop he say that he is searching for the hardware to instal it!
but later he says it cannot be installed you must drive programm's
is it vista that give me the problem or something else ?
please help me

http://www.korg.com/product.aspx?pd=128 you will find drivers for your Korg here.

Korg doesn't make drivers for the microKORG because it doesn't have USB.

You need to plug into the microKORG using a hardware midi interface, so it the midi interface that needs drivers (unless it is USB class compliant).

I think he must be talking about the MicroKorg XL, which does have USB.

in which case, yes, you must download the drivers. then once you have installed them, go to start > programs > KORG USB-MIDI Driver > Install USB MIDI Device

If your on Windows XP there may be another issue with that?

Did you resolve this and if not are you on Win XP?
