padKONTROL sysex?

Post by DeadVolume »

It says in the manual you can use the editor to get it to send your own sysex messages.

Where does the editor do that.....

Then?

I am also interested in this feature.

I find the lights to be sadly and embarrassingly useless the way they were designed. I want to be able to utilize Logic Pro 9 to send sysex messages to run a beat chase through the lights like a respectable percussion controller should.

I'd like to actually create, with the Native Mode, my own interface to this device so it does exactly as I wish and, eventually, I'd even like to set it up to handle keyboard shortcuts and macros. This doesn't have to be one trick pony and I'm sad it's so limited out of the box.

If ~anyone~ has any information on how to communicate with the padkontrol with Logic Pro 9 I'll be most sincerely appreciative.

Thank you for your time and consideration!

I found the sysex bit, it's on the global page on the editor software.
