Just change the look.
Make it not the ugliest keyboard anyone has ever seen or imagined.
The current M3 with it's wimpy white color looks like it was designed for Barry Manilow, Michael Bolton or Yanni, or maybe one of those evangelist guys in white shoes. This keyboard design has no business on a rock and roll stage! And the removable module section, looks like an afterthought, clunky and awkward. The keyboard looks naked without it and becomes even uglier! It's pointless anyway unless you can rack mount it. From a design standpoint it's a complete disaster. i would never buy one even though it sounds amazing, because I just couldn't look at it. The M-50, The Oasis, the Triton and Triton Extreme- all nice designs, but the M3... ugliness and poor aesthetic design take on new meaning! Did I mention that it's ugly?

hater.
it's "strange-looking", not ugly...
i actually hated the look of it when it came out... i guess it just kinda grew on me. Looks a lot better with the module tilted down, but i really like the design (the white is hokie though). But here this picture will make you happy:

BTW... i think the days of "black" high-end keyboard-workstations are officially over. The next one will probably be transparent... or glowie yellow
