I've been watching lots of music videos on YouTube lately (performances of original material or covers) and noticed one thing... people often don't bother to comment on or rate a video. There was one vid in particular there that has received over 1500 views, but less than 10 comments. (I forget how many ratings). I make it a point to share an opinion one way or another, although I admit I may forget to rate the video.
A sign of the times perhaps? Just a quick view and off we go--forgetting to share our view or appreciation.
Opinions?
Just bad manners?

A simple explanation of the Views to lack of Comments/Feedback ratio!!!!
You don't have to be logged in or a member to view videos on You tube.
I suspect many people use it and view things without ever Joining, myself included
Couple that with the fact that many people end up posting vindictive and downright abusive comments with other members having slanging matches, you can understand why many people don't bother leaving any comments.

I have certainly enjoyed Micheal's instrument demos,it was his demos of the TI that made me buy one and he showcases the Instruments with a true realism.
His demos are executed with the expressionism of playing, with an air of immediacy,or innocence like they have just been taken out of the box and tinkled with, what you see is raw talent
Something that many product demos from the manufacturers fail to achieve or require a famous name to expose or talk about how great its super charged rocket blaster sawwave is,and how it will solve all your problems in Life!!!
.
I wonder how many others have been swayed into buying something based on his(keyboardwiz) demos...
Dave smith certainly felt it good enough to post it on his own Site profiling the P08

A lot of people just don't know what to say, too. Not everyone knows enough about music to feel that they would be comfortable giving any sort of critique. Even still, there's the old adage that "contenment breeds complacency." If something was good, most people aren't going to take the time to say that they thought it was good...unless maybe it was life-alteringly awesome or something.
