What's wrong with actually writing music yourself?
Sigh...
Sadly the average listener and (apparently some "producers" too) doesn't understand the difference between someone throwing some pre-written loops together versus those of us that write real music note by note.
Boy the early 2000s are off to a great start:

Every hit movie is a remake of an older movie, or a rushed-to-screen cash grab based on a toy or video game.
All fashion is rehashed 80s trash
90% of music is disposable bubble-gum pop deviod of thought and is derivitave, generic "verse-chorus-verse" cookiecutter nonsense or is outright sampled 80s pop.
Where's the originality? Where's the innovation?
