So Im trying to be a good help here!

Post by Technition »

I am not a keyboard owner, but my knowledge comes in handy here and there. A friend of mine is trying to combine sounds from 2 different combination's. The only thing is when I do load the combination from the Media, the sound is totally different because the programs are not loaded. Like I said if was the owner I would've figured it out, but since the keyboard is not between my hands this is where I turn for help. What would you guys think? and If I need to re-explain things please let me know!

Thanks guys!!!

The sounds are not there because the prog sounds are not present in the Extreme.

The way to do this is to move the sounds (on the original machine) to a location, say bank N. Then make sure the combi is now choosing those sounds within itself instead of where they currently are. Save this combi with the changes.

Then Use the save .pcg option in media and only save bank N prog.(so untick everything else) and save the prog sounds.

Then load bank N to the second extreme that has the combi with the missing sounds. Make the same changes to the combi so the second machine is looking at bank N also and as the sounds are now present they should play correctly.
