electribe doesnt record on reason please help

so i am trying to use my electribe as a midi control surface on reason 4 i got everything pretty much configured like the synth parts and i plays but when i go down to record it and start playing no notes show up and it just wont record what im playing please help me it would save me a lot of money

If Reason is receiving but not recording your tweaks, then the problem is with Reason, not your Electribe. Reason needs to be configured to record controller data.

i'm not saying anythings wrong with my electribe i just need help finding out how i do get the reason to record the sounds played on reason

In the edit menu, you want to click on 'Preferences', then 'Audio', and then 'Keyboard and control surfaces'. You should 'auto-detect control surfaces', or ADD, then Korg <Other> (MIDI Control Surface) or <Other> (MIDI Keyboard) try this if you can't figure it out, good luck!
