Rhodes patch

Post by Old Guy »

I know this has been asked before but has anyone developed a really good Rhodes Piano patch for the TEX. I really don't want a sample if someone has "tweaked" one on the Extreme. If someone has one, I sure would appreciate knowing what it is.

I went though the "Search" on the Forum. There was some discussion but no actual patch information.

Thanks

To be honest...I'd love to know that too. I hope someone is able to help you out my friend. I would if I could.

Me too. I'm searching for Rhodes and Hammond multi-samples.
I'm sure that they exist, and that they will sound cool on TEX.. but.. how to find them??!!

I've it. Me and a my friend (that has real rhodes) a few years ago we recorded the samples and we created the program.
If you give me time I can share with all over the world :)

Old Guy,
I'm not sure what you mean by " I really don't want a sample if someone has "tweaked" one on the Extreme."

Does that mean you only want new samples, or that you only want tweaked programs?

I have spent a little time tweaking some Rhodes and Wurly TEX (and EXB-MOSS) programs to improve them, however, the best sounding Rhodes I've been able to create is within the Reason software DAW. If you are interested I can look up and reply with where those samples are from.

Rhodes Sample

Pillbug, Actually, I've reconsidered a few things since I first did that post last November. I've been doing a lot of "tweaking" on the TEX since then and have managed to come up with some not bad results. I would still like to have anything that's available out there. I don't have the Moss in myTEX so I'm kind of limited in what I can do.

If anyone is interested in Reason, the patch I made there was based on the Electromechanical 2.0 refill NNXT patch called -T RHODES MK I which is several sets of multisamples. I then added parametric EQ, reverb, and a Scream module to give it a vintage fuzzy Mike Ratledge/Soft Machine sound. (I called the combinator Gesolreut).

If I can find a way to post/share the TEX programs I've tweaked, I will do that here too.

Thanks
